whole-Self discovery through yoga

yoga is so much more than a physical practice. a holistic approach rooted in both traditional and contemporary techniques can serve as a bridge to your truest, most complete Self and nurture your connection to the world at large.

about ariel

hi, i’m ariel garcia (they/she)! i’m a queer, non-binary, latina student and teacher of yoga currently based in fort lee, new jersey. i am dedicated to individual and collective liberation and i believe a holistic yoga practice can serve as an approach to life that integrates all the different parts of oneSelf to engage more fully in the world.

my practice is rooted in service (karma yoga) and devotion (bhakti yoga), having received my 200-hour certification in 2021 through Asheville Community Yoga, an entirely donation-based non-profit yoga and community center in North Carolina. in 2025, i received a 100-hour certification in Yin & Restorative yoga through Jot Anant and Alchemy School of Yoga (Jeanie Jyanti) in Rishikesh, India.

additionally, i have completed numerous courses centered on the intersections of yoga and racial justice, feminism, queerness, neurodiversity, and accessibility.

breathwork for artists

a unique offering for musicians, performance artists, writers, and anyone using their voice/body in their art!

as a singer/songwriter, pranayama (breathwork) has completely shifted the way i present myself and my music. it grounds me into the physical space, reconnects me to my message, and allows me to be fully engaged and present.

breathwork can be done in preparation for a live performance, recording and/or writing session, creative collaboration, etc. i have even facilitated breathwork for audiences in between musical acts!

reach out to me with your idea and we’ll work together to create something supportive.
